Bonnie Tarantino has a BA in English with Secondary Education degree from GW and her Master in Fine Arts in Writing. For the last 25 years she has taught Reiki and yoga and has trained over 300 Reiki masters. She is a Usui, Karuna and Holy Fire Reiki Master. In 2004 she founded and served as the Director of Yoga Programs at the University of Maryland Center for Integrative Medicine. During that time she received a large grant to train health care professionals in Reiki, yoga and meditation. Her programs have been researched and published as proven and effective techniques in the treatment of compassion fatigue. The 200 and 500 level yoga programs she helped launch and teach were geared toward helping health care professionals integrate mindfulness and healthful habits into their practice in order to combat burnout and tap into their inherent healing gifts. She now enjoys a private coaching practice.
